Roasted Figs With Gorgonzola

This may sound like an unlikely combination but it’s brilliant and so easy to prepare.

Serves 4 as a starter:

12 ripe figs
6 ozs gorgonzola or other blue cheese to taste Chopped into dice
Salt and milled black pepper

For the sauce:
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar

Baking tray or serving dish
Preheat grill to highest setting
